I reinstalled the app and my coins are gone.
Coins are consumables, like a drink at the counter: they live on the phone where you bought them, and neither Apple nor Google can restore them after the app is deleted. That's why the app says so before you buy. If something went wrong with a purchase, write to us.
A song stopped halfway. Did I lose the coin?
No. If a song is cut off because the app was closed, or a record fails to play, the coin goes back in your tray. You'll see a short note about it the next time you open Dimelight. Ending a song yourself with REJECT (press and hold) uses the coin.
Why aren't these the original hits?
The original fifties and sixties records are licensed in a way that would turn a 10¢ song into a subscription. Dimelight plays 30 recordings by Kevin MacLeod instead: new pieces written in classic styles, shared under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Every song is credited on its title strip and on the maker's plate.
I bought coins, but they haven't arrived.
If Ask to Buy (Family Sharing) or a slow payment method is involved, the purchase waits until it's approved. The coins arrive by themselves once it goes through, as soon as Dimelight is open. You're only charged after approval.
Can I get a refund for coins?
Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds do too: reportaproblem.apple.com on iPhone, or your Google Play order history on Android.
The music stops when I lock the phone.
It shouldn't. Dimelight plays on the lock screen. Check that the phone isn't muted for media, and on Android that battery optimisation isn't stopping the app.
How do I reach you?
[email protected]. It's the only address we use.
